Our History
James Joseph Salon opened its doors in 1997 with a small team of 5 stylists in a 1000 square foot basement on Boston's fashionable Newbury Street. Five years later, we expanded to a 2100 square foot architecturally dynamic, sun-splashed loft at 30 Newbury Street, where we continue to thrive to this day. Our unique ambiance, cutting-edge technology, and talented stylists have made us a staple in the Boston hair care scene.
