Rivajeta, the owner and master stylist of Salon Marce, brings her passion for the industry, the Rochester community, and drive to provide the best possible experience for guests and stylists alike. She is a graduate of Shear Ego and has trained under the area's premier instructors and creative directors. Rivajeta is committed to remaining on the cutting edge by attending numerous coloring, cutting, and product instruction classes both nationally and internationally. She is proud to call Rochester home and enjoys supporting charitable causes such as exploited children and animals. Lisa - Front Desk Manager
Lisa is the first person to greet and make all of our guests feel welcomed at Salon Marce. She joined our team when her daughter, Maddy, took leave to pursue adventure and higher education. Lisa makes sure that everything in the salon runs smoothly, ensuring the best possible experience for each client and our stylists. She enjoys engaging in conversations about arts, culture, food, science, nature, gardening, and beekeeping among other topics.
Our Passion
The name Salon Marce reflects our passion and reverence for the rich history in the craft of hairdressing. In the 19th century, Parisian hairdresser Francois Marcel revolutionized hair styling with the invention of the heated curling iron. The "Marcel Wave" was a hairstyle popularized in the 1920s. Salon Marce is about more than simply styling hair; it is an expression of the passion we hope to share with the Rochester community for years to come.
