Our story began in early 2010 when Master Barber Christopher Paratore envisioned a small-town atmosphere where people could come together to share experiences and get top-quality haircuts.

Located at 2460 Western Ave. Altamont NY 12009, we are conveniently situated just four miles west of Crossgates Mall and two miles west of 20 Mall. We're neighbors with Valvoline Oil, Stewarts, and Gade's Farm, making it easy for you to find us.

In June of 2012, Chris's sister Jacqueline joined the team, expanding our services to include Chrispycuts Plus, a private room offering the latest in hair cut, color, and salon services exclusively for the ladies. Our History

Chrispycuts was founded on the principle of providing a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere where people could come together to share experiences and enjoy top-quality haircuts. Our founder, Master Barber Christopher Paratore, had a vision of opening a barbershop in his hometown of Guilderland, NY, that would bring back the golden era of the barber shop.

During the golden era, the barber shop was more than just a place to get a haircut; it was a weekly habit where friends would gather to fraternize and catch up on local news. Chris wanted to recreate this sense of camaraderie and community spirit in his barbershop, and thus Chrispycuts was born.
