Welcome to Promodern Salon, the "Place to Go" hair salon in the area since 1954. Our story began with Bonnie and Don Bates' "Bon-Don Beauty Salon, " and after a few changes in ownership, we moved into our current space in 2013. Our building has a rich history, and we are proud to be a part of it.

Our Services

At Promodern Salon, we offer a wide range of services designed to meet your beauty needs. Our services include haircuts and styling, color services, perming, waxing, and smoothing treatments.

Haircuts and Styling

Our haircuts include a shampoo and basic finish. Prices vary depending on the length and type of haircut you need. For women, haircuts start at $30, and for men, they start at $25. We also offer styling services, including shampoo and set, blow dry style, and formal styling for special events.

Color Services

All of our stylists are Certified Scruples Colorists, trained in technique and formulation to customize color to your needs. We offer one-step color, full head foil, partial foil, bayalage (hair painting), and toner services. Prices start at $60 for a one-step color, and we also offer express and specialty color services that require a pre-consultation with a stylist.

Perming

If you're looking to add some texture or curl to your hair, we offer basic wrap, specialty wrap/long hair, partial perm, and extra perm solution services. Prices start at $85 for a basic wrap.

Waxing

We provide waxing services for your brow arch, lip, and chin. Prices start at $18 for a brow arch wax.

Smoothing Services

Our smoothing services are designed to help manage frizz and curl. We offer keratin complex treatment, Brazilian blow out, and express keratin smoothing treatment. Prices start at $100 per hour for these services.
