Hair Extraordinaire is a premier salon that has been in business for over 40 years, offering a wide range of hair services to men and women of all ages. Our story begins with Frank B. Yanick, Sr., a Pearl Harbor survivor who owned a traditional barbershop. His son, Frank Jr. (Skip), joined the business and eventually took over the shop, transforming it into a family hair salon. In 1980, Skip named the salon "Hair Extraordinaire" in honor of his mother, Mrs. Mary. Over the years, the salon has undergone several transformations, with the current owner, Maureen Brown, taking the reins in 2007.

Our talented team of stylists is dedicated to providing personalized attention and customized services that cater to each client's unique needs. Our team consists of:

• Maureen Brown, Salon Owner & Stylist: With 38 years of experience, Maureen specializes in corrective color, foil, perming, haircuts, facial waxing, and hairstyles for all special occasions. She continues to take advanced courses at the Aveda Institute in Washington, D.C.
• Brenda, Stylist: With 33 years of experience, Brenda specializes in corrective color, foil, permanents, haircuts, and hairstyles for all special occasions. She continues to take advanced courses at the Aveda Institute in Washington, D.C.
• Jen, Stylist: With 38 years of experience, Jen specializes in corrective color, foil, cutting-edge haircuts, and hairstyles for all special occasions. She continues to take advanced courses at the Aveda Institute in Washington, D.C.
• Monica, Stylist: With 19 years of experience, Monica specializes in high-fashion color, foil, thermal permanent hair straightening, human hair extensions, and facial waxing. She is certified in SO.CAP. USA human hair extensions.
• Skyler, Stylist: With 6 years of in-salon experience, Skyler specializes in men's haircuts and new styles, women's hair color techniques, thermal blow-outs, and formal styles for all special occasions.
