The Penthouse Salon, an Aveda Concept salon, was established in 1979 at 313 Central Avenue, where customers had to climb 29 steps up to the salon, hence, the name Penthouse. In 1996, the business moved to its current location, a few blocks from the heart of downtown. The salon is designed to provide a sense of privacy while maintaining an open, enjoyable atmosphere. Each designer's work area has a unique look, featuring mirrors, product selection, and display to create an interesting environment. The spa area, painted by artist JoAnn Flesch, offers private rooms for body waxing, facials, and manicures and pedicures, providing an oasis for relaxation.

Our team at The Penthouse Salon is dedicated to the development and management of diversified cosmetology ventures characterized by superb quality and economic vitality. Services

At The Penthouse Salon, we offer a wide range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Our team of highly skilled professionals keeps up with the latest trends and techniques in the industry by attending various industry events, such as the Aveda MasterJam in Minneapolis. We also invite speakers to the salon for presentations, such as the recent talk, "Breaking the Rules: Hair Color 101."

In addition, we pride ourselves on staying current with modern trends. Our stylists attend several industry events each year to keep up with the latest fashions and techniques. We believe that continued education is vital to providing the best services possible. Our team has undergone advanced training at Vidal Sassoon Academies, Aveda's own World Congress, and academies in New York, Denver, and Minneapolis. We have also attended international shows in New York, LA, Las Vegas, and even some international training in London.

At The Penthouse Salon, we offer various services, including haircuts, color services, perms, and extensions. We also provide skin care services, such as facials, waxing, and makeup application. Our spa area offers a variety of massage services, including Swedish, deep tissue, and hot stone massages. We believe that everyone deserves to feel and look their best, and we strive to provide the highest level of service possible.

At The Penthouse Salon, we are proud to offer Aveda products, which are founded on the common mission of caring for you and caring for our world around us. Every purchase of Aveda products contributes $20 towards clean water products, making a positive impact on the environment. We offer a range of Aveda products, including hair care, skincare, and makeup. Our team is knowledgeable about each product and can help you choose the right one for your specific needs.

Community Involvement

At The Penthouse Salon, we believe in giving back to our community. We are proud to have sponsored various non-profits over the years, including the Rivers Edge Trails, Children's Receiving Home, Paris Gibson Square, CM Russell Museum, Animal Foundation, and many others. We have held cut-a-thons, sold raffle tickets, and sponsored scholarships to help make Great Falls a better place to live. Our clients' causes are our causes, and we are committed to making a positive impact on our community.

In July 2015, Leslie Vassar, a 19-year employee, purchased The Penthouse Salon from Don and Marty and will manage the business end. Leslie and her husband Kenny want to keep the tradition of what The Penthouse Salon has built over the years while continuing to make a positive impact on the community.
