Our Story
Founded in 2014 by two sisters, Sali and Emiliya Akopyan, FYI Medical is a passion-driven project that has brought together over 50 years of experience in the medical field. We understand the impact of unwanted hair on one's self-esteem and daily life, having walked the path ourselves. Our own experiences with the challenges of permanent hair removal have shaped our approach and ignited our mission to support others through their journey.
Our Services
At FYI Medical, we offer two unique hair removal methods: electrolysis and laser hair removal. Electrolysis is the only FDA-approved method that achieves 100% permanent hair removal by destroying each hair follicle individually. Our laser hair removal treatment uses a concentrated beam of light to target melanin in the hair follicle, damaging the follicle and preventing hair growth.
Our Team
Our team consists of licensed and experienced cosmetic therapists, including Emiliya Akopyan and Sali Akopyan. Emiliya is a licensed cosmetic therapist with a degree in Psychology from Ohio State University and a special interest in Neuroscience. Sali is also a licensed cosmetic therapist and a licensed dental hygienist. Together, our team is dedicated to providing a personalized and comprehensive approach to hair removal.
