Rumors Hair Salon is a friendly, family-owned salon that has been providing quality hair, nail, and skin care services to the Melbourne, FL community for 22 years. Our mission is to provide luxurious results at an affordable price, while consistently delivering exceptional service and individualized attention to our clients. We pride ourselves on being a family-oriented business, and we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
Hours of Operation
We are open Tuesday through Saturday, and we kindly ask that you provide 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment as a courtesy to our stylists. Our current hours are as follows:
- Tuesday: 9am - 5pm
- Wednesday: 9am - 8pm
- Thursday: 9am - 8pm
- Friday: 9am - 5pm
- Saturday: 10am - 4pm
We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

- Barbara: Owner and nail technician with 40 years of experience. She has lived in Florida for 27 years and opened Rumors with her best friend, Alison, in 2002.
- Alison: Manager and stylist with 39 years of experience. She opened Rumors with Barbara in 2002.
- Sheri: Stylist with over 50 years of experience. She grew up in an Air Force family and has been with Rumors since opening day.
- Tracey: Stylist with over 40 years of experience. She is from England and has been with Rumors since opening day.
- Stephanie: Esthetician with 22 years of experience. She is a Florida native and loves skincare.
- Cyndi: Esthetician with over 24 years of experience. She has been with the Rumors family for over 20 years.
- Juliann: Stylist with 10 years of experience. She specializes in blondes and hair extensions.
- Skylar: Stylist with 5 years of experience.
- Kelsey: Stylist with 3 years of experience.
- Cora-Lynn: Nail technician with 8 years of experience.
